All metal items sold by Raven Shadow Forge come with a limited lifetime guarantee that they will retain their quality and function for the lifetime of the owner. If one of our products fails to meet this standard, it can be refunded, repaired, or replaced at any time provided the following conditions are met:
- Item must have been damaged or failed during regular use, meaning the use that the item was intended for. This does not include tools with a commonly understood purpose being used inappropriately. For example, a chef’s knife damaged while chopping through a block of wood would not be considered “regular use”.
- Item must have been cared for appropriately including reasonable maintenance and storage by the owner
- Does not apply to products or product components considered to be replaceable, such as leather cords or wooden tool handles
- Does not apply to surface finishes. All metal objects are subject to rust, tarnish, or corrosion, and require regular maintenance on the part of the user. Please refer to our Use and Care instructions page for more information
- Tools with a sharpened edge will require regular sharpening and honing by the customer for optimal performance
Refund and Returns Process
1.) Notify us at ravenshadowforge@gmail.com, or by our contact page on the website and we can walk you through the process. Generally speaking:
- If the maker’s mark is unclear, proof of purchase is required
- A detailed explanation of the problem will be requested including photographs if possible
- We will reach a mutually agreeable resolution (repair, replacement, or refund)
- The item must be shipped back to us before a refund or replacement can be issued. The customer is responsible for shipping costs
